&quot;Mariners Apartment Complex&quot; is the first taste of what listeners can expect from her next LP&nbsp;project, which has been produced by Jack Antonoff of the Bleachers. In signature Lana Del Rey style, the singer&nbsp;croons about sadness and love&mdash;two subjects which would be a grave&nbsp;understatement to call &quot;recurring motifs&quot; throughout her body of work. The track represents a distancing from the orchestral sound the singer utilized in her first two albums, replacing the grandiose accompaniment with simple,&nbsp;acoustic mix of piano and guitar. While Lana has certainly always had a&nbsp;way&nbsp;with channeling emotion, but &quot;Mariners Apartment Complex&quot; is one of her most soulful, and nostalgic to date. The video shot entirely in black and white, is a referential nod to the simplicity of the VHS era, featuring a Southern Californian&nbsp;suburb&nbsp;as a backdrop.&nbsp;

But that&#39;s not all!&nbsp;While Lana lovers might still be reeling from the drop of &quot;Mariners Apartment Complex&quot;, the singer plans on dropping the second single, &quot;Venice Bitch&quot;, on Sept. 18th. Who knows what Lana&#39;s got up her sleeve?&nbsp;
