Following his chart-topping GNX release, he is going on tour with SZA starting April 2025. Here are all the dates and details.
Kendrick Lamar is officially going on tour in 2025.
Just a week after dropping his surprise album GNX, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Lamar is keeping the momentum going. The Grammy-winning rapper announced a 21-stop tour, dubbed the "Grand National Tour," which will kick off in April 2025. SZA, who collaborated with Lamar on two tracks from his latest album, will join for the tour. Her features on GNX have been praised by fans and critics alike, adding even more fanfare and anticipation for the upcoming tour.
GNX was yet another show of Lamar's lyrical genius and visual prowess, evident in the visuals accompanying the music. The album launched with 319,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in its opening week, making it the year’s sixth-largest debut, according to Billboard. The surprise album, which dropped on November 22, delivered this year's third-biggest streaming week for any release.
Kendrick Lamar's success with GNX and the announcement of his "Grand National Tour" affirms his dominant force in the music industry. His feud and rap beef with Drake punctuated the summer thanks to hits like "Not Like Us." Lamar's music continues to be marked by sharp lyrical jabs and profound layers, offering fans plenty to parse apart. Through his surprise album, Lamar once again flexed his savant-like talents. The tour—presented by Live Nation, pgLang and Top Dawg Entertainment—will offer fans a chance to witness it live.
The presale for the tour kicks off December 4 at 10 a.m. local time, and fans are already buzzing about the opportunity to see the duo perform live. Keep scrolling for the full list of tour dates.
