Get ready to dance, Katycats! The pop star&rsquo;s sixth studio album is finally coming.

At last, a new <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/katy-perry-orlando-bloom-instagram-style">Katy Perry</a> era is among us. On June 17th, the hitmaker announced that her lead single &ldquo;Woman&rsquo;s World&rdquo; would arrive on July 11th and be accompanied by a music video the following day.&nbsp;
Perry revealed the song&rsquo;s cover art, shot by Jack Bridgland, on her social media. In the photo, she stands over a prismatic-colored galaxy wearing a white knitted halter bra with matching bikini bottoms from the brand Duciel and bulky armor legs designed by CGI artist Victor Clavelly. The pop star captioned the photo, &ldquo;Get ready to pop off.&rdquo; She also posted a short video teasing the song. &ldquo;Sexy, confident/So intelligent/She is heaven sent/So soft, so strong,&rdquo; Perry sings in the snippet.&nbsp;
It&rsquo;s been nearly four years since the &ldquo;Teenage Dream&rdquo; singer released new music with her sixth studio album, Smile, in August 2020. The record debuted at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and received mixed critical reviews. Since then, Perry has stayed busy in the music scene. From 2021 to 2023, she performed a residency at Las Vegas World&rsquo;s Resort. Meanwhile, she was a judge on the singing competition show &ldquo;American Idol&rdquo; for seven seasons but announced in February on &rdquo;Jimmy Kimmel Live!&rdquo; that the forthcoming 22nd season would be her last as she focuses on bringing new music to the world. &ldquo;I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat,&rdquo; she said.
Perry continued to leave cryptic messages about her new music to fuel fan&rsquo;s excitement. While attending the 2024 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in April, Perry carried a miniature transparent glass purse with a scroll that read &ldquo;KP6: TOP SECRET.&rdquo;&nbsp;
To celebrate <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/anant-ambani-wedding-radhika-merchant" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Perry&rsquo;s</a> return to creating music, L&rsquo;OFFICIEL compiled everything we know so far about the highly-anticipated album.

Although Perry has not disclosed the track list and credits yet, the Canadian singer Lu Kala posted a video with Perry in April, teasing their song-writing partnership on Perry&rsquo;s upcoming single. &ldquo;Thank you <a href="https://www.instagram.com/katyperry/?hl=en">@katyperry</a> for letting me be the tiniest part of what you have coming. I can&rsquo;t wait for the world to hear it,&rdquo; Kala wrote in the video&rsquo;s caption.

Perry has not stated the official release date for her album. However, after people generated A.I. images of her at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/met-gala-2024-red-carpet-celebrity-looks-fashion">Met Gala</a> in May, she <a href="https://x.com/katyperry/status/1788352030857408565?lang=en">tweeted</a>, &ldquo;wow ppl are STILL texting me that they can&rsquo;t believe they missed me at The Met or OMG you killed it etc etc&hellip; welp, hold on to your common sense hat cause we in for a ride this fall&hellip;&rdquo;
The presence of Perry&rsquo;s daughter got her creative juices flowing. "I haven't put any new material out since my Darling Daisy," <a href="https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/culture/story/katy-perrys-las-vegas-residency-play-coming-end-101998590">she told Good Morning America</a>. "I think that I'm writing a lot and have written a lot from a place of love, because I'm feeling so much of it -- so much unconditional love, that love you never knew existed."
