A talent for music is definitely a family affair. Whether sons and daughters of iconic musicians or great actors and entertainers, artistic propensity is often passed down from generation to generation with a legacy that continues over time. Rock legends such as Bob Dylan and George Harrison and country stars like Johnny Cash and Billy Ray Cyrus have given birth to musical prodigies that followed in their footsteps and had very big shoes to fill.

Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of one of the biggest names in music history, Frank Sinatra, released a huge hit single in 1967, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin’." She also recorded a hit song, "Somethin' Stupid" with her father and co-starred with Elvis Presley in the movie "Speedway" in 1968.
Daughter of Jazz legend Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole hit it big in the 1970s with R&B music and switched to traditional pop in the 1980s. Her 1991 album including covers of her father's songs, "Unforgettable... with Love," sold seven million copies in the U.S. and won seven Grammy Awards.
