Last night, some of your favorite artists gathered in Los Angeles for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, celebrating music with jaw-dropping performances and exciting wins, but one special appearance stole the show. While accepting his award for Artist of the Decade, Drake was joined on stage by his son Adonis. The three-year-old was obviously nervous about appearing in front of so many people—yes, there was crying involved—but he was given the honor of holding his dad's golden microphone as he hid behind his leg.

Midway through his dedications, Adonis tried to make an escape before the amused rapper pulled him back, telling him, "I want to dedicate this award to you."

The father and son were joined on stage by some of the "God's Plan" rapper's friends and family members who presented him with the honorific award. He was nominated in seven different categories and took home the award for Top Streaming Songs Artist of 2021.

Drake is on the verge of releasing his sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy. The record was supposed to drop earlier this year, however, the launch was postponed while the rapper recovered from knee surgery.

In preparation for the album's debut, the artist released a fashion collaboration with Nike last fall and has already revealed an upcoming line of merch with the brand Chrome Hearts.
