Burberry Partners with Colorsxstudios to Celebrate Emerging Musicians
The British brand's new collaboration includes a video series uplifting six young artists.
Burberry is looking to the future with its new partnership with Colorsxstudios, a digital platform designed to showcase rising talent across a variety of genres and backgrounds. The Burberry x Colors collaboration highlights six musical artists through a series of videos that will be released in installments. The featured artists include Etsy, Maria Isabel, Q, Reggie, Serpentwithfeet, and Smino, who will each perform original, unreleased songs for their individual videos.
For the series, Burberry's Creative Director Riccardo Tisci dressed each of the musicians in designs from the brand's Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The House's involvement with the project follows its commitment to champion young talent and future creatives. The brand has also pledged to donate to local "community-driven" and "youth-focused" arts organizations under each of the artists' names.
The first video in the series will drop on March 29, with subsequent videos launching every other week. The clips, as well as exclusive interviews with six artists, will be available on the Colorsxstudios Youtube channel and Burberry.com
