The New BTS/Nicki Minaj Song Is a Bangin' Nightclub Staple
In case you've been living under a rock, BTS (an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or 'Beyond the Scene') has become one of the biggest boy bands on the K-Pop and international music scenes. With over a million fans worldwide, the 7-member band is a veritable global phenomenon selling out world tours, topping charts and winning the industry's most prestigious awards.
Their latest single IDOL, dropped on August 24th, is a true example of BTS' unique sound: a mix of Gqom house, traditional Koreas music, EDM, and trap. Oh, and did we mention that the track features none other than Nicki Minaj? The American superstar joins the ranks of talents who have collaborated with BTS, from Steve Aoki, Desiigner to the Chainsmokers.
Come September, the BTS boys will be on the road for their 2018 world tour across North America, Europe, and Japan. Tickets for the shows are currently sold out, but keep an eye (and ear) out for that BTS sound on the airwaves and in the clubs!
