Ariana Grande's Family Said This about Her Engagement to Dalton Gomez
On Sunday, Ariana Grande announced her engagement to boyfriend Dalton Gomez on Instagram, much to the excitement of her mother, Joan, and brother, Frankie. The "Thank U, Next" singer shared several never-before-seen photos of the couple, as well as the ring itself. She captioned the post, "forever n then some."
To support the happy couple, Frankie showed his excitement in the comment section, writing, "I am so happy for you both and so excited to (officially) welcome Dalton into the family! YAY! This is just the beginning of a long-lasting life filled with laughter & love. Ugh. I love you both! HAPPY ENGAGEMENT!"
Grande's mother, however, opened up to Twitter about her thoughts on the impending nuptials, saying, "I am so excited to welcome Dalton Gomez into our family! Ariana, I love you and Dalton so much!!!! Here’s to happily ever after! YAY! xoxoxo."
The couple was first spotted around Valentine's Day earlier this year, though Gomez was, at the time, unidentified. In March, TMZ reported that Gomez was, in fact, the pop singer's new boyfriend. Since then, two have been quarantining together in Los Angeles during the coronavirus pandemic.
Unlike her previous relationships to comedian Pete Davidson and rapper Mac Miller, Grande has kept her romance with Gomez quite private, sharing little about him on social media. However, the singer did include him in the music video for her duet with Justin Bieber "Stuck with U" back in May. Not much is known about Gomez, who is private on Instagram, other than his occupation as a luxury real estate agent at Aaron Kirman Group.
Just one day after announcing her new fiancé status, the "Dangerous Woman" songstress also celebrates the release of her Netflix concert movie Excuse Me, I Love You which is available to stream as of today.
