Ready to buy the car of your dreams? The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO is now available at Tom Hartley Jnr, an esteemed British auction and sales house. This rare model, one of 36 units produced between 1962 and 1964, will only be available for private sale, which is accessible only to a few people.

The current price of the model is estimated at no less than $30 million and is currently among the most expensive Ferrari models in the world.

While this is a far cry form the most expensive Ferrari ever sold (a silvery blue 1963 GTO sold for $70 million in 2018) this car is extremely special due to its rich history.

The highlight of this exclusive offer is the fact that it is a model from the line's first year of production. Chassis number 3527GT is one of only 21 units equipped with left-hand drive, making it an ultra-rare find.

Furthermore, the vehicle is in impeccable condition, boasting most of its original parts, including the chassis, body, engine, rear axle, and transmission. Complete with the original 3.0-liter V12 engine, with 296 horsepower, the foundation of the famous car remains intact, as does the five-speed manual transmission.

This particular vehicle made history after nearly clinching a victory for Scuderia Ferrari in the 1962 Tour de France. After this near win, the Ferrari 250 GTO raced under the Scuderia Filipinetti, and since retiring from the racing track, it has been owned by several of the world's top car collectors

Other exclusive models ranking among the most expensive Ferraris in the world include the vintage Ferrari 290 MM, which is now at auction for $28 million, and the Ferrari 335 Sport Scaglietti—which breaks the record for the most expensive Ferrari ever sold at auction at about $36 million.
