Louis Vuitton Takes Over Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong SAR For Men's Pre-Fall 2024

LVMH's flagship brand takes center stage in Hong Kong SAR on the Avenue of Stars at Victoria Dockside for the Men's Pre-Fall 2024 show.

Pharell Williams Louis Vuitton Men's Pre-Fall 2024

The coolest pairing of the moment, the one formed by Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton, conquers Hong Kong SAR and brings to the stage the Men's Pre-Fall 2024 show with a giant show on the Avenue of Stars at Victoria Dockside, including unreleased songs by Williams as a soundtrack, celebrities from across Asia and the globe, and a stunning drone show. Williams revealed that the collection was inspired by "the idea of a [Hong Kong SAR] businessman on vacation in Hawaii who in the middle of his relaxation is forced to return to the city for an important meeting."

In the spotlight, Williams' archetypes and aesthetic passions to define a cool and young wardrobe converse with references to the maritime world—floral patterns, cult accessories, and touches of luxurious streetwear. He is underlining that same aesthetic universe made of urban wear and luxurious underground that the designer began his tenure with during his first show on the Pont Neuf in Paris. There are the precious embroideries, the collegiate references, the carved furs, the college bombers, the shorts, the hubcaps, and also the dandy suits. In a joyful aesthetic balance with sporty features, the whole feels new again. "In this collection, there are my fetishes, the things I like," the designer explained. Bringing on stage also hints of womenswear and a parade of bags destined to become cult favorites, whether it’s the maxi Alma in vitamin colors or the petite styles with marine charms or trekking backpacks in deluxe versions.

And at the end, to seal the event, bright drones in the clouds above the metropolis of Hong Kong draw the mantra chosen by Williams to define his journey from Louis Vuitton and his tribe of LVOVERS.
