One thing is certain: Charles Jeffrey is a showman. The King of East London nightlife sent out dramatic silhouettes nonconforming to gender. In it, men wore evening gowns and women appropriated the stern costumes of bankers. The show emanated joy and feeling, and was more peaceful than usual; a rave leading us into its incandescent rhythm.
