Zendaya Gushes Over Co-Star Timothée Chalamet During 'Late Night' Appearance
It seems Emmy-winning actress Zendaya is just as besotted with Timothée Chalamet as the rest of the Internet. During an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, when asked what was her favorite part about working on the set of the upcoming film Dune, the actress couldn't help but mention the Beautiful Boy actor. She responded, "Everyone is so lovely. Timothée has become one of my closest friends and he's lovely and so talented."
She also shared some insight into how the co-stars entertained themselves while the cameras weren't rolling. She explained, "I think my favorite part was when we would have these dance parties in my room, where I would leave the door open, and Timothée would come in with his little speaker and everybody would start coming in and then we'd just start dancing."
The Euphoria star also expressed her excitement for the film's release, professing that she has become a "Dune nerd." She said, "I'm very, very excited. I feel so lucky, incredibly lucky to be a part of it. It's such a beautiful thing and I'm geeking out like everyone else. I can't wait to see it and I can't wait for people to see it. It's special."
The film, which was originally scheduled to be released at the end of 2020, will be available in both theaters and to stream on HBO Max on October 1. The story is based on a sci-fi novel of the same name which follows Chalamet's character, Paul Atriedes, as he arrives on a new planet with his father. After a betrayal of trust, Paul must work together with people who he once considered enemies in order to save his family.
