Zendaya opened up about how she and Timothée Chalamet spent their time off set of their new movie "Dune."

It seems Emmy-winning&nbsp;actress&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/malcolm-&amp;-marie-zendaya-john-david-washington-netflix-trailer" target="_blank">Zendaya</a>&nbsp;is just as besotted with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/timothee-chalamet-movies-dont-look-up-netflix-ariana-granda-leonardo-dicaprio" target="_blank">Timoth&eacute;e Chalamet</a> as the rest of the Internet. During an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, when asked what was her favorite part about working on the set of the&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;film <a href="https://collider.com/dune-movie-new-release-date-delayed-2021/" target="_blank">Dune</a>, the actress couldn&#39;t help but mention the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/director-felix-van-groeningen-tiff-winter-2018" target="_blank">Beautiful Boy</a> actor. She responded, &quot;Everyone is so lovely. Timoth&eacute;e&nbsp;has become one of my closest friends and he&#39;s lovely and so talented.&quot;

She also shared some insight into how the co-stars entertained themselves while the cameras weren&#39;t rolling. She explained,&nbsp;&quot;I think my favorite part was when we would have these dance parties in my room, where I would leave the door open, and Timoth&eacute;e would come in with his little speaker and everybody would start coming in and then we&#39;d just start dancing.&quot;

The <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/euphoria-season-2-zendaya-news-release-date-cast" target="_blank">Euphoria</a> star also expressed her excitement for the film&#39;s release, professing that she has become a &quot;Dune nerd.&quot; She said, &quot;I&#39;m very, very excited. I feel so lucky, incredibly lucky to be a part of it. It&#39;s such a beautiful thing and I&#39;m geeking out like everyone else. I can&#39;t wait to see it and I can&#39;t wait for people to see it. It&#39;s special.&quot;

The film, which was originally scheduled to be released at the end of 2020, will be available in both theaters and to stream on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/new-movies-tv-shows-february-2021" target="_blank">HBO Max</a> on October 1. The story is based on a sci-fi novel of the same name which&nbsp;follows Chalamet&#39;s character, Paul Atriedes,&nbsp;as he arrives on a new planet with his father. After a betrayal of trust, Paul must work together with people who he once considered enemies in order to save his family.
