After the success of Call Me by Your Name, director Luca Guadagnino and Timothée Chalamet may be collaborating on set once against in a new romantic film with a horrifying twist. Guadagnino's new project Bones & All will reportedly star Chalamet opposite Canadian actress Taylor Russell (Waves).

The film, based on the novel of the same name by author Camille DeAngelis, tells the story of Maren Yearly, a young girl in search of her father whom she never knew, in an attempt to find out why she has urgency to kill and eat the people who love her. Many have questioned the timing of this movie's announcement considering the current scandal surrounding Chalamet's Call Me by Your Name co-star Armie Hammer.

For Chalamet, Guadagnino's film marked his breakout role. Over three years after its release, the 25-year old actor has now found critical and box office success with films such as Little Women, Beautiful Boy and the highly-anticipated The French Dispatch by Wes Anderson. However, this new project will be the star's first foray into the horror genre. There is no confirmation on production schedule or release dates, but it's been reported that Guadagnino will also collaborate with screenwriter David Kajganich, who worked on the director's other projects, Suspiria and A Bigger Splash.
