Russell period film, the director's first movie since Joy starring <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/timothee-chalamet-movies-dont-look-up-netflix-ariana-granda-leonardo-dicaprio" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jennifer Lawrence</a> in 2015. The details about the project are still unknown, however, Swift's casting was reported on the Instagram gossip account <a href="http://www.instagram.com/deuxmoi" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Deuxmoi</a> before a source revealed the news to <a href="https://www.showbiz411.com/2021/05/30/cats-didnt-kill-her-acting-ambitions-taylor-swift-said-to-be-part-of-david-o-russells-all-star-movie" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Showbiz 411</a>. According to Collider, New Regency and 20th Century Studios are backing the film's production.

While fans are eager for the singer to release more re-recorded material, her upcoming film project may slow their release.
