The First Trailer for Suspiria Is Here and We're Already Scared
Dakota Johnson is fifty shades of freaky in the first trailer for Suspiria, a remake of the classic 1977 Italian horror film of the same name, directed by Luca Guadagnino.
In it she plays an American ballet student who travels to Germany to attend dance school, only to find herself in a nightmare that makes Black Swan look like Step Up. Think ghosts, murder, missing women and maggots, all rolled into one.
The film, which also features Tilda Swinton and Chloë Grace Moretz, is Guadagnino’s first foray into the horror genre. The trailer alone is already being described as “grotesque,” “brutal,” “tense,” and “terrifying.”
Suspiria will be in theatres on November 2. Watch the first trailer below.
