On RuPaul's Drag Race, avant garde fashion is the norm. Host RuPaul Charles, the self-proclaimed "supermodel of the world," has delivered fashion extravaganza week after week ever since the show first aired in February 2009. This is one of the reasons why the fashion world loves the drag queen competition: it's a celebration of exploring identity and maximizing self-expression through dress.

This fashion funfest has dedicated fans across the globe, including an array of well-known designers and supermodels. After competing on the show, queens have also forayed even further into the fashion industry. Winners and L'OFFICIEL stars Aquaria and Violet Chachki have worked with a number of luxury labels and become models in their own right.

Before becoming fashion week fixtures, however, the series' 12 seasons (and several spin-offs)-worth of contestants had to face some of the biggest names in the industry. In celebration of RuPaul's 60th birthday, L'OFFICIEL rounds up 10 of the queen's fashion powerhouse friends to star as guest judges on Drag Race.
