Pamela Anderson Will Tell Her Story in a Netflix Documentary
Actress and model Pamela Anderson announced on Instagram that Netflix is producing a documentary about her "true story," following the release of Hulu's Pam & Tommy.
Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson has just announced on her Instagram that Netflix will produce a documentary telling her true story. This comes shortly after the actress's repudiation of the production of the miniseries Pam & Tommy, which stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the roles of the former married couple. Produced by Hulu without Anderson's permission, the docuseries exposes her relationship with musician Tommy Lee and the events leading up to and following the leak of their private sex tape.
Though without a defined title, the documentary has been shooting for years now with the direction of Ryan White and executive producer Brandon Thomas Lee, Anderson's son with the Mötley Crüe drummer. "My life. A thousand imperfections, a thousand misinterpretations, mean, wild and lost. No expectations to meet. I can only surprise you. [I am] not a victim but a survivor - and live to tell my real story," the actress posted on Instagram. She signed it with a lipstick kiss.
The project will feature interviews with Anderson, as well as archival footage and personal diaries. It is described as "an intimate portrait embedded in the life of Pamela Anderson as she looks back on her professional and personal path and prepares for the next steps on her journey."
