The 'Friends' Reunion Releases Trailer and Sets Premiere Date
It's finally confirmed: the entire 'Friends' cast returns for a one-off reunion, which will air on HBO Max.
There will be a lot of revivals and reboots coming up, but there's one in particular that we've been waiting for a long time: the Friends reunion. The one-off broadcast was initially scheduled to appear in May 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus. The premiere now has a date set: May 27, 2021. You might expect an episode like the old days in which Phoebe, Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler, and Ross drink a coffee in Central Perk, but the show will take a different route: it's a special without a script. The cast will be present on the original set, but as themselves, talking about their time in the series, sharing facts, and showing behind-the-scenes footage.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry starred in the mega-popular series for 10 years, from 1994 to 2004. In total they made 236 episodes. More than 15 years later, the actors and actresses come together again.
