Chanel will support novice filmmakers

The French fashion house is teaming up again with Tribeca Film Festival to support young female filmmakers and screenwriters in the United States.

From October 17th to October 19th, the Through the Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program will be held, featuring films by rising female directors: Marianne Amelinx, Nicole Emanuele, Mina Joseph, Nicyatu Jusu and Anna Zlokovic. The winner will receive $ 100,000, which will be decided by a panel of judges including Dakota Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel Weiss, Amma Asante, Donna Gilotti and Mira Nair.
