Zendaya's Iconic Handbag Collection: the Purses She Wears on Repeat

One thing is for certain: Zendaya has mastered the art of crafting a look, which includes her taste in handbags.

The Dune actor's highly coveted handbag collection is a testament to her unmatched style. Zendaya often pairs outfits with accessories that are subtle yet striking. Whether she chooses a structured tote or a refined crossbody, the style icon consistently gravitates toward versatile handbags that balance sophistication with a practical flair.

“I prefer to have my hands free,” Zendaya said on her bag preferences in a 2023 interview with British Vogue. “Either I have a small bag–like a crossbody, that I can take with me everywhere. As long as it can fit my phone, lip gloss, and a little camera.”

Her current favorites appear to be Louis Vuitton’s Neverfull and Diane bag. The latter is a sleek satchel that complements her busy lifestyle with its compact size and versatility. The Neverfull, on the other hand, is a more spacious tote that was first released in 2007. It offers a  laid-back (but still luxurious)  option for days when she needs to carry more than just the essentials.

While she switches between compact vs. sizable, Zendaya tends to favor larger handbags. “I am one of those people that like to fill their bag. I gotta put my computer in it... I gotta put this... I gotta put that. So I’m either going all or nothing. I’ve gotta have options," she continued in the interview.

The Euphoria actor has also been seen with the luxury French brand's Low Key Hobo, most recently pairing it with a travel-day outfit as she left New York City post-Met Gala. It’s no surprise that Zendaya remains loyal to the Parisian maison, having been appointed as a brand ambassador last year. With her demanding schedule, these go-to choices make perfect sense. Her selection of timeless classics and versatile designs reflects her unmatched taste.

Sex and the City fans will recognize the suede Fendi Baguette Zendaya wore on an outing in Boston with boyfriend Tom Holland in 2022. The iconic show’s titular character, Carrie Bradshaw, is known for her fondness of the popular Fendi style, wearing it in the original show and in the revival And Just Like That…. You can consider this purse Zendaya-approved, as the first sighting of her with the bag was in February 2020 at the airport. The press tour for Challengers produced some of Zendaya’s best red-carpet looks yet, thanks to her longtime stylist Law Roach. Anderson was tapped to be the film’s costume director, bringing his signature flair to a world of luxury staples and refined athleisure. In April, Zendaya touched down in Italy for the Milan premiere with the Loewe Flamenco Clutch in dark burgundy at her side while arriving at the airport.
