The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is back!
After a six-year hiatus, the brand revived its catwalk and cast of "Angels" with a reveal in Brooklyn on Tuesday, October 15. It was a highly-anticipated comeback: Victoria's Secret is, after all, undergoing a massive rebranding effort after a spell of serious controversies. The 2024 show was supposed to be proof of its shift towards inclusivity while still keeping its high-energy feeling. On the red carpet, celebrities' excitement was palpable, evident in their ensembles that balanced a sense of sexy with refinement.
Tyla, who performed later on in the night, arrived in a pink cutout gown by Turkish designer Salihb Balta. Phoebe Dynevor sported an all-black Michael Kors set fresh off New York Fashion Week's latest runway. WNBA star Angel Reese wore a sultry red, crystal mesh number by Diotima. Some others, like Jenna Lyons, kept it more casual in jeans and a button-up shirt, leaving lingerie to the modes.
Later on in the night, icons like Kate Moss, Imaan Hammam, Bella Hadid, and Alex Consani shut it down on the runway alongside guest performers like Cher and Lisa from Blackpink. Tyra Banks, famously behind America's Next Top Model, did the final walk, offering the crowd a taste of nostalgia amid the revamp.
