For many, Victoria Beckham is the face of '90s and 2000s fashion. Along with her soccer-player star husband, David Beckham, she has been at the center of many daring and sometimes controversial fashion moments—no need to remind you of the time the pair wore a head-to-toe leather Gucci look to a Versace event. Nevertheless, Posh Spice has also been a muse of sorts in the fashion world. Recently-deceased designer Roberto Cavalli famously had Beckham close his fall 2006 menswear show in a goddess-like white dress with a structured top half that featured intricate embroidery and a flowy skirt that showed legs with an alluring high slit. Beckham also arrived at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust event in Monaco, accompanied by Cavalli himself. If you are an avid enthusiast of red carpet style, there's no doubt this chiffon-like sea blue and green floor-length dress isn't on your mind.

“The celebrity connection is very important. It’s important because it’s adrenaline, and that’s what starts creativity,” Cavalli said, as per British Vogue. Cavalli was the first of many who welcomed Beckham with open arms into the world of high fashion, with Christopher Bailey and Maria Grachvogel being other examples of designers who proudly dressed the former pop star in the noughties.

This was, of course, before Beckham made a name for herself in high fashion with her self-titled label, Victoria Beckham, coming out with its first collection in 2008. Her designs were noticed for combining glamour with sophistication, as many of her pieces prioritized versatility and wearability while still flattering the female figure.

Beckham's iconic street style moments are also cause for celebration and nostalgia, with many of her looks, especially from the '90s, communicating the effortless London glam she has always stayed true to.

Below, as a toast to the designer's birthday, L'OFFICIEL rounds up the best looks Victoria Beckham has donned over the years.
