Timothée Chalamet is the Newest Chanel Fragrance Ambassador

After hints of working with the luxury brand, Timothée Chalamet confirms his new partnership with Chanel.

It's official: Timothée Chalamet has joined the Chanel family. In a recent post on Instagram, the luxury brand posts Chalamet with the caption, "Chanel is pleased to announce that Timothée Chalamet will serve as the fragrance ambassador for Bleu De Chanel. A fragrance for the man who is deeply himself."

Chalamet also teased the partnership after taking to his own Instagram and posting the signature "Double C" Chanel emblem with the caption, "CC X TC OTW." Whispers about the Dune star and fashion house first circulated last month after Chalamet was spotted in New York City filming a Martin Scorcese-directed Chanel commercial.

The Bones and All actor channeled downtown cool as he was filmed next to the subway donned in a grey shirt, matching black leather jacket and pants, finalized with black combat boots. (The commercial filming was also the source of the now-viral video of Chalamet responding to Scorcese with "Oh period.")

Now, no more speculation needs to go around as the partnership is officially confirmed. The claim to Chanel ambassadorship is added to Chalamet's already long list of highlights in 2023. The actor has had quite the year, preparing for the release of Dune: Part Two (starring alongside Zendaya) and currently filming the highly-anticipated Wonka movie. On top of this, Chalamet's private life has caught even more attention from the public eye as it's rumored he's in a romantic relationship with Kylie Jenner.

As for his role as a Chanel ambassador, the luxury label has yet to reveal further details on what the partnership will entail (other than a commercial we have to look forward to). That said, working with Hollywood's biggest It boy can only guarantee it's going to be a fun ride.
