TikTok is the most pumped social network in recent times and thus, new trends are launched there in different niches, for different audiences. With thousands of videos being posted daily, we take a look back at the beauty trends that went viral in 2021, and that ended up reverberating in other social networks as well. Which ones will you be bringing into 2022?

1. Matte skin has its days numbered! On TikTok, the skin of the moment has a fresher and more natural finish, achieved with a skincare routine consisting of lots of hydration and even a light foundation applied with a damp sponge.

2. Skin "burned" from...blush? Yes! To achieve the famous "sun blush" effect, apply an extra dose of blush, building layers with a powdered product. With a very fluffy brush, concentrate the product on the cheeks and especially on the nose.

3. TikTok was largely responsible for the comeback of curtain bangs, a style of bangs that rocked in the '60s and '70s. TikTokkers are making complete tutorials on how to give yourself bangs at home. The idea is to cut the bangs at eye level, making it longer on the sides and split in half.

4. Faux freckles, also known as fake freckles, have re-emerged on TikTok with new shapes and products to aid reproduction, such as eye shadows, hairspray, henna paint, and even self tanning.
