Tiffany Wonder: Tiffany & Co. Presents Tokyo Exhibition
Tiffany & Co. commemorates 187 years of diamond tradition with a special exhibition in Tokyo that tells the special bond with Japan.
Celebrating the jewelry brand's 187th year, Tiffany & Co. is set to host an exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, which will run from April 12 through June 23. Entitled "Tiffany Wonder," the exhibition will be hosted at the TOKYO NODE gallery located in the Toranomon Hills Station Tower in Tokyo, with scenography curated by the renowned architecture studio OMA. Across 10 rooms, visitors can explore the history and craftsmanship of Tiffany & Co., admiring more than 300 iconic objects such as the first Blue Book, the first Blue Box and the Tiffany® Setting engagement ring. Among the pieces on display are a rare orchid brooch by George Paulding Farnham and the Plumes necklace by Jean Schlumberger. The exhibition concludes with the 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond , mounted in a jewel inspired by Jean Schlumberger's Bird on a Rock brooch.
“The idea of wonder has been part of our DNA since 1837. Since the very beginning, each design that we've imagined and each piece that we've handcrafted was rooted in our mission to spark wonder and inspire the world's greatest love stories," said Tiffany & Co. Executive Vice President of Product Alexandre Arnault. "Our latest exhibition celebrates this spirit in a city that is of great importance to Tiffany & Co.: Tokyo,” Arnault added.
On April 11, Tiffany & Co. celebrated the opening of its latest exhibition, "Tiffany Wonder," in Tokyo at the Tokyo Node Gallery. The star-studded bash's guest attendance included Pharrell Williams, Olivia Wilde, and Bruna Marquezine. Each of the attendees graced the event wearing Tiffany & Co. pieces, and the event included a special guest performance from Japanese singer-songwriter Gen Hoshino.
Starting April 12, the "Tiffany Wonder" exhibition is open to the public. The exhibition allows visitors to view the brand's archival creations and contemporary high jewelry through an immersive visual journey.
