Teddy Quinlivan Is the Model of the Year

Dancing in underground clubs at night, and jetting off to catwalks in the morning — she's a real New Yorker.

The 23-year-old model is a reminiscent of old New York, when models would party downtown and could still make it for hors d'oeuvres with the Upper East crowd. By fashion month, she takes off to Paris, Milan, and London and becomes a face for luxury brands and and admired by high-end insiders from all over the world.

Discovered in 2015 by Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquière, Teddy Quinlivan has become one of the most in demand faces on the runway, having walked for the likes of Gucci, Coach, Oscar de la Renta, and more. Last fall, in response to the political climate of the time, the model revealed her own transgender identity, explaining that she transitioned at the age of 16. "The personal is political," she said at the time. Support for Quinlivan only strengthened after: Bookings have never been better.
