Sarah Jessica Parker has always been a fashion icon, but now, the actress is using her influence in an even more positive way by auctioning off the Oscar de la Renta dress she wore to the premiere of the series And Just Like That… last year.

With an initial bid of $5,000, proceeds from the dress will go straight to UNICEF to help those displaced in the Ukraine crisis.

Parker spoke to Town & Country on the partnership, saying, "It was a privilege to wear this dress at the premiere of And Just Like That... in December of last year, and I am honored to partner with my friends at Oscar de la Renta to now auction it off. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to UNICEF, an organization that I feel called to support now more than ever, given the current geopolitical conflicts and the immediate growing threats posed by so many innocent children. It feels meaningful to say goodbye to the dress in this way."

The chosen dress has a strapless cape and sweetheart neckline. It is designed with sequins and topped off with a full pink tulle skirt. At the premiere of And Just Like That…, Parker also wore a pair of pink satin heels, from her own brand, the SJP collection.

Since the onset of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Parker has been outspoken about wanting to support those impacted. She wrote on Instagram, "If anyone has information on how to help the hospitals that are caring for NICU patients that had to be moved out of the critical care units and into makeshift centers of care, please let me know. Having trouble finding aves to support."

Being vocal about the humanitarian issue received widespread support and positive feedback on social media. Many other celebrities followed suit, including Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mila Kunis, Dua Lipa, Victoria Beckham, and Gigi Hadid to name a few. Other celebrities, like Cher, have gone so far as to offer her home in Malibu as a sanctuary for Ukrainian refugees.
