Saoirse Ronan is Louis Vuitton's Newest Ambassador
The French fashion house announced the beginning of a partnership with Irish actress Saoirse Ronan.
Just a few weeks before Paris Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton has announced its newest brand ambassador—the four-time Academy Award nominee, Saoirse Ronan. The 29-year-old actress has almost exclusively worn Louis Vuitton to events for the past few months, sparking speculation of a potential partnership between Ronan and the brand.
Ronan has recently been recognized as a top ten actress of the 21st century on a New York Times list, a spot earned for her performances in beloved, highly acclaimed films such as Little Women, Lady Bird, Brooklyn, and Atonement. Though the actress has been primarily recognized for her work in period films, she has acted in everything from science fiction, Foe (2023), to supernatural dramas, The Lovely Bones (2009), lauded for her emotionally engaging performances and enthralling on-screen presence.
“I have admired Saoirse’s career for many years now, I find her totally captivating in the roles she plays. And what’s more, behind her talent lies such a charming and bright person,” said Nicolas Ghesquière, Womenswear Creative Director at Louis Vuitton since 2013.
A testament to their friendship, Ronan accompanied Ghesquière to the Academy Museum Gala in December of 2023, where she wore an elegant white Louis Vuitton bandeau top and a matching airy, flowing pleated skirt. Ronan wore a powder blue embroidered Louis Vuitton jumpsuit at Sundance Film Festival in January of this year, appearing at the premiere of her film, The Outrun, which she starred in and produced.
Later this year, catch Ronan in Blitz, Steve McQueen's highly-anticipated World War II era historical drama, where she stars alongside Harris Dickinson and Erin Kellyman.
