Live fish. Blue sapphire butterflies. Like the blissful late months of summer, Palomo Spain is brimming with vitality in its newest editorial. Alternating between the grey, rocky cliffsides and a deep cerulean environment reminiscent of cloudless summer skies, the shoot evokes the dual sides of the warmer months—at times calm and serene, at others bright and vivacious. The androgynous silhouettes further play upon duality as structured blazers and Oxfords meet soft material and a sweeping, luxurious flow, adding a modern twist to the classic collegiate wear. Alejandro Gómez Palomo has always flirted with the historical, and Fall 2019 was an especially exciting collection as he presented his unique vision of menswear using inspiration from Les Ballets Russes. The looks' rich color palette and dreamy silhouettes first took the runways alongside artful makeup, showstopping headwear, and shoes reminiscent of the days of court ballet, and now they find a different aesthetic alongside breathtaking natural beauty.

Founded in 2015, Palomo Spain continues to stay true to its message of freedom, openness, and diversity. With a unique visual reverie and creative new takes every year, the brand's vision meets with L’Officiel for a new presentation of the ballet-inspired collection.
