Midriff flossing recently made a comeback both on and off the runways, with celebrities and influencers like Dua Lipa, Zendaya, Leonie Hanne, and Camila Coelho rocking the strappy look on city streets, Caribbean beaches, and red carpet premieres alike. For their Spring/Summer 2021 collections, established and emerging fashion brands like Versace, Michael Kors, Jacquemus, Supriya Lele, and Christopher Esber brought back 2000s midi skirts, bralettes, and pants with emerging strings affixed to criss-cross across the stomach to show some skin.
