Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2024 Men's Show to be Staged at Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong
The Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2024 men's collection designed by Pharrell Williams will be on display on Thursday, November 30 at K11 Victoria Dockside in Hong Kong.
K11 Group's Avenue of Stars will be the perfect setting for Louis Vuitton's upcoming Pre-Fall 2024 men's show, in collaboration with K11 MUSEA, both an integral part of the K11 Victoria Dockside mega development project—which aims to offer an experience of art, culture, retail, leisure, hospitality and work—on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. The LVMH Group brand event is scheduled for Thursday, November 30, and will further enhance Hong Kong's reputation as a thriving economic and cultural hub and affirm its position as one of the world's leading fashion capitals.
The brainchild of Adrian Cheng (Chief Executive Officer of New World Development and Founder and President of K11 Group) - who recently launched a partnership to support Matthew M. Williams' 1017 ALYX 9SM brand - K11 MUSEA, is a stage of the Asian hub for cultural-retail and world-class artistic and cultural events. And after his debut at Paris Men's Fashion Week with the Spring/Summer 2024 men's show on Pont Neuf, creative director Pharrell Williams will bring his vision and the Pre-Fall 2024 men's collection to Hong Kong, contributing to and broadening the horizons of the Asian cultural landscape.
The rebirth of Hong Kong is a journey of inspiration, a spirit synonymous with the Maison Louis Vuitton, with whom we are thrilled to collaborate for such an important event. The iconic fashion house's Pre-Fall 2024 men's collection will debut soon and usher in a new era of art, culture and style. As the Chairman of the Hong Kong Arts and Culture Mega Events Committee, I am fully committed to actively participating in the restoration of Hong Kong as a global cultural center. This unique showcase at the iconic K11 Victoria Dockside will strengthen Hong Kong's status as a thriving cultural and economic hub. It will also mark a significant turning point for our city, pushing us towards our vision of becoming one of the most influential fashion capitals in the world." The arrival of Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall 2024 men's show will mark a further surge in the consideration of K11 MUSEA as a center for fashion, digital and modern art, collecting, pop culture. Already in the past, the art hub has proven to stand out in the East by hosting the Festival de Cannes Film Week in 2019, celebrating creativity and cinema with the support of Pierre Lescure, Thierry Frémaux, and Adrian Cheng; but also in 2021, at K11 NIGHT with the exhibition Savoir-Faire: The Mastery of Craft in Fashion curated by Carine Roitfeld and Cheng, with the METAVISION NFT (2022) exhibition dedicated to digital art, and City As Studio this year curated by Jeffrey Deitch, who explored the world of graffiti and street art. And among the upcoming exhibitions, Painting with History in a Room Filled with People with Funny Names 3, a video installation by Korakrit Arunanondcha will be the year-end exhibition, part of the K11 NIGHT on A Memory Palace. At the same time, K11 MUSEA and YouTube will collaborate to create the world's first YouTube pop-up café, called Rhythm & Brews, which will enhance the special relationship between popular culture and contemporary lifestyle.
