Lily-Rose Depp Shares What Chanel Cruise 2021 Pieces She's Taking on Vacation
Chanel tweed sets, basket bags, and sunglasses are just a few of the things you can expect Lily-Rose Depp to take with her on holiday to the Côte d'Azur. Dishing about her favorite pieces from Chanel’s Cruise 2021 campaign, the young actress stars in the collection's new campaign and an accomanying behind-the-scenes video.
The making of the campaign sees the L'OFFICIEL star posing around a swimming pool at a stone house, an atmosphere that evokes a sense of comfortable luxury, in pieces that exude the same feeling. In a pink tweed jacket and mini skirt, worn over a bikini top, Depp describes the collection as "mix-and-matchable" and "effortlessly chic."
Titled Balade en Méditerranée, the collection imagined by Creative Director Virginie Viard and lensed by Karim Sadli offers a laid-back take on Chanel's signature tweed separates with more casual accessories like flip flops, bucket bags, and oversized sunglasses with flip-up shades.
Depp, who was close with the late Karl Lagerfeld, enjoyed working with Viard on the new campaign, saying that the current matriarch of the maison holds an "elegance and a grace about her that’s very characteristic of the Chanel woman." Viard returns a similar affection, expressing that she wanted to capture a campaign that reflects an air of "familiarity and trust.”
The Chanel Cruise 2021 collection will be available from November 17.
