L'Editorial: Collaboration in the Digital Era

Maybe you remember her from the early days of YouTube—the days where the platform was stocked full of Target shopping hauls and makeup tutorials filmed in the bathrooms of childhood homes—but if that's the Amanda Steele you're accustomed to, chances are you won't recognize her today. MakeupbyMandy24 is no longer, and in her place is the beautiful and fashionable businesswoman signed to IMG models, starring in both television and web series, and running her own fashion line—Steele is a powerhouse in her own right.

While she is still uploading videos to share with her 2.7 million subscribers and working on her numerous outside projects like gracing the cover of Cosmopolitan and designing clothes and jewelry, Steele found the time to meet up with Los Angeles based photographer Mathilde Bresson to create this cutting edge editorial. The dreamy images showcase Steele in a soft glam makeup look sporting outfits palatable for everyone no matter their fashion taste. She rocks a highlighter-yellow turtleneck, a look not-so-easy to pull off, following the hottest trend of the season: neon. We also see her in athleisure and more soft and feminine styles. 

In the age of linking-and-building, this is a collaboration made in heaven. There's nothing quite as special as seeing people come together to create something beautiful, and that's exactly what Steele and Bresson are delivering to us with this shoot.
