Kim Kardashian Drops $25K on Janet Jackson's Outfit from 'If' Music Video

Kim Kardashian has never made her fangirl habits a secret. In fact, she often shares what new TV shows, movies, or hobbies she's currently obsessed with on social media. In fact, she revealed that she spent $25,000 on Janet Jackson's outfit from her "If" music video.
The KKW Beauty mogul shared a clip from Jackson's video on her Instagram Stories yesterday in honor of the singer's birthday. She followed it up with a close-up shot of Jackson in the ensemble, a custom cropped suede halter top with artificial bone detailing up the breasts and a pair of high-waisted black pants laced up the front. She captioned the photo, "For @janetjackson's bday bc I'm such a fan I can believe I won this outfit on @juliens_auctions."
The outfit was a part of a three-day auction titled "Iconic Treasures From the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson." On Friday, the auction house announced that the garment had been sold for $25,000. Part of the proceeds from the auction's final sale will go to Compassion International, a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides global aid for children in need.
Jackson also joined in on the birthday fun and shared Kardashian's message on her own Instagram, writing, "Thank u so much @kimkardashian! I hope 'IF' gives u as much pleasure as it did me."
