KATAMA is a True Celebration of the New England Ethos
KATAMA is back on the road this summer for its 2018 AirStream Tour. This time, the epitomic New England swimwear brand will be promoting its latest collection of swim trunks and resort apparel. The theme? Lawn sports.
Is there anything more "New England" than a gentle game of bathing suit croquet, badminton or horseshoe on a long summer's day? "In our ever-busy world, it can be easy to forget the importance of switching off and connecting with nature," explains Garrett Neff who founded KATAMA in reminiscence of his childhood summers off the coast of Massachusetts. Combining functionality, time-honored fabrics, and the timeless East Coast prep aesthetic, Neff drew inspiration from his past to create modern pieces specifically designed for the new generation of men and women. That being said, this brand is about more than just beautiful apparel with 20% of each sale of the Lawn Sports Collection being donated to Oceana — the world’s largest NGO dedicated to preserving our oceans. In his words, "it has never been more important to make sure we do our part to educate one another on the impact we have on the water and this beautiful coastline.
The 2018 KATAMA AirStream Tour will be setting up pop-ups across the Northeast and Long Island Coastline from July 20 to August 27. More details are available in the image, below.
