Jennifer Lopez Wears Controversial Boots on Date with Ben Affleck
J-Lo's boots were made for walking...and general construction work.
Being a celebrity often comes with being in the spotlight, which means speculation about pretty much everything: fashion choices inclusive. For a romantic date in Los Angeles with her beloved, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez bet big on a time-old staple.
For the outing, the 52-year-old singer invested in a brightly colored sweater, chic bag in a neutral brown tone, but attention turned to her pants and footwear choices. Harkening to the yesteryear, better times of 2008, Lopez chose to don skinny jeans and Timberland boots.
In addition to the pants, which are a Gen Z point of contention, Lopez completed the look with her hair down and a purple protective mask.
Despite looking new in Lopez's ensemble, the boots have already accompanied many of her looks. After performing the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2020, she posed alongside friends wearing a branded partnership Jimmy Choo that featured Swarovski crystals.
