'Squid Game' Star HoYeon Jung Joins Louis Vuitton as New Maison Ambassador

From the cover of magazines to the big screen, actress Squid Game actress HoYeon Jung continues making a name for herself as Louis Vuitton names her as its newest global Maison Ambassador. The breakout star’s impressive relationship with the French fashion house started years ago when Jung graced Paris Fashion Week runways sporting Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2017 and Pre-Fall 2017 collections. 

Louis Vuitton's Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquirère celebrated the partnership by saying, “I immediately fell in love with HoYeon’s great talent and fantastic personality, and I am looking forward to starting this new chapter of the journey we started at Louis Vuitton a few years ago.”

The former model's successful career has earned her impressive accolades including second place on Korea’s Next Top Model and the 2019 Asian Star Award, while also opening new doors such as co-starring on a top Netflix series. Jung described the sheer excitement of the partnership, revealing, “It is an honor to start my acting career with Louis Vuitton, the brand I have modeled for. I look forward to all the moments with Louis Vuitton as a global ambassador.”
