Tis the season of giving, and Bottega Veneta intends to do just that. The Italian fashion house is using its significant platform to shine a light on smaller, local brands. Bottega Veneta selected 12 other bottegas in Italy to be featured in this year's festivities.

The brand promises this is only the first year of what will be an ongoing project in which it hands over online and in-store retail space to local craftspeople. Merchandise from the other brands will not be sold through Bottega Veneta, but the items will be advertised on Bottega Veneta's website, in its newsletters, store shelves, and windows. Locations in Milan, Rome, and Venice will participate.
