Heidi Klum's Daughter Makes a Surprising Entrance into Fashion
After Kaia Gerber, Lila Moss, and Lily-Rose Depp gained prominence in fashion, following the footsteps of their model mothers, it's now time for Leni Klum, daughter of supermodel Heidi Klum, to start her career in the business. The 16-year-old is already gaining the spotlight after walking her first runways at the recent Berlin Fashion Week. Leni appeared on the catwalks of some of the biggest names in German fashion, as well as the cover of Hunger Magazine. The young model made an impressive debut in the industry in December with a Vogue Germany cover alongsider her mom.
“It was only a matter of time before I would try to become a model," Leni told Vogue. "The first offer came when I was only 12 or 13, from a brand I liked to wear: Brandy Melville. At that time I begged my mother, but no chance. Now I understand that it would have been too early.”
Now, Heidi fully supports her daughter's career. In an interview with Page Six, Heidi said, “She is big enough now. I always thought she was too young. We have always decided to keep children out of the public sphere. But she already drives now, she is 16 years old, so I think that if she can do that, she can also be a model now if that’s what she wants to do.”
