Meet the Swimwear Brand That's All Over Instagram
Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Olivia Rodrigo, and more agree that Gonza is the new brand of swimwear to adopt.
Each summer there's a star bikini brand that the biggest celebrities are wearing, and in recent years, Instagram has been flooded with two main contenders. First, Frankie's Bikinis collaboration with none other than Gigi Hadid— recently worn by the likes of Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid and cutting-edge fashionistas alike. Yet this farm-girl-chic collection comes only second to the head-turning sexiness of swimwear brand and Kardashian-Jenner favorite— Gonza.
Launched by sisters Victoria and Sofia Villarroel, Gonza is a Latin beachwear brand designed to catch the eye with bold prints and colors. Above all, the sisters want women to feel confident when they wear their creations which are aimed at all bodies and all shapes so priority is given to fit and comfort. Gonza's star model? Without a doubt the one worn by Kendall Jenner and shared with her some millions of Instagram followers: the Caroni. Betting on the trend of the inverted triangle, it is worn next to the skin, twisted with its thin straps to tie around the neck, while enhancing the discount with an ultra-sexy detail if worn crossed. Jenner's bestie Hailey Bieber wore a pink terrycloth version on her Instagram.
As for Jenner's big sister Kourtney Kardashian, the latter opted for another flagship model of the collection: the Caracas bikini which offers a print of military camouflage patterns. This time, there are no suspenders to have fun with, but a classic triangle model with a speckled burgundy, yellow, and khaki green print that makes all the difference.
All Gonza models are made from the brand's signature double-layered mesh fabric and come in solid colors and unique colorful prints inspired by the places where the Villarroel sisters lived and traveled in the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and the United States.
Even fellow model Bella Hadid has adopted the line. Just a few months ago the industry icon was seen in Miami pairing a green-blue patterned suit with an on-trend mini skirt.
