Which Stars Showed Up In Style To The 2024 Gold Gala?
Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, Lucy Liu, and more sported stunning looks at the Los Angeles event.
In downtown Los Angeles, stars arrived en masse at one of the most highly anticipated parties of the year—the Gold Gala.
The event, hosted by the Gold House, was created to celebrate Asian-Pacific achievement across many fields, with honorees from the entertainment, culinary, and art industries.
Fashion icons and A-list actresses Michelle Yeoh, Lucy Liu, and Cynthia Erivo strode down the red carpet, all clad in some of the chicest looks of the night. Yeoh sported a timelessly elegant neutral tweed suit set—a look that the Everything Everywhere All At Once actress finished off with an abstract handbag, pared-back gold jewelry, loose waves, and a minimal glam look. On the other hand, Erivo went bold with a half-black-half-green dress—Wicked is on the star's mind ahead of the film's release, it seems. Meanwhile, Liu sported a simple, elegant gray strapless dress and finished off her look with platform heels, a stunning pink lip moment, and matching nails.
Other high-profile guests included Reneé Rapp and Towa Bird, who made a joint red carpet appearance shortly after debuting their relationship just last month. Rapp donned a light-wash denim blazer while her partner rocked an ultra-chic cherry-red suit.
Guests enjoyed the evening and were spotted mingling over cocktails before sitting down to enjoy a finely curated menu co-created by Padma Lakshmi and Vijay Kumar, the Michelin-starred chef who prepared the evening's meals.
After dinner and the ceremony, iconic DJ Steve Aoki delivered an energetic performance that had the crowd up and dancing in an instant. Once Aoki closed out his set, Saweetie appeared on the stage in a stunning black jumpsuit and gave guests a surprise performance that no one could have seen coming.
