See the Campaign for FENTY's Release 8-19
Rihanna's new LVMH fashion brand Fenty hasn't even been around long enough for a single fashion month to pass by, but today it already debuted its third collection. Continuing to capitalize off its namesake designer's highly covetable sense of style and penchant for celebrating diversity, Release 8-19 offers a luxe mix of jackets, miniskirts, blouses, and stilettos among other items, each of which is ready to make wearers look put-together and effortlessly cool as fall arrives. The tailoring and menswear inspiration especially stand out, providing some incredibly trend-forward inspiration for looking like a boss in the office, on the streets, and beyond.
The campaign, featuring the talents of British art photographer Liz Johnson Artur, follows a group of model cool kids around Peckham, South London. Featuring a mix of colorful, Instagram-ready closeups and sophisticated black-and-white snaps, the photos capture a uniquely London feel as the cast walks the streets, poses in some artsy-chic environments, and lets loose on the playground. With the Barbadian designer showing off the third collection from her Paris-based label in London, Fenty's new release shows a truly global perspective on what's hot in fashion.
Release 8-19, available online starting today, continues to show the power of Rihanna's influence and of embracing the internet-era drop format. Influencers and fashion elite are surely scrolling through Fenty's site right now, scrambling to order the luxury pieces in hopes of showing them off during the imminent Spring 2020 fashion shows. Get ready to see a lot of Fenty in street style photography, and hopefully some Rihanna moments, all next month.
