Fear of God Dropped a New Jay-Z Inspired Collection

Concert merchandise takes one more step towards luxury fashion.

Beyonce sure does get a lot of (well-deserved) attention from the fashion world, but now it's Jay Z's turn. The rapper, who finishes his 4:44 world tour tonight at The Forum in Los Angeles, is the inspiration behind a new collection from LA-favorite brand Fear of God. The announcement is no coincidence, as the clothes are meant to celebrate the tour.

The unisex collection comprises hoodies, leather jackets, tee-shirts and denim, all covered in white graphics and the album title. The designs further blur the boundary between fashion and concert merchandise, which really kicked off last year with Justin Bieber's Purpose Tour wares.

Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo told Vogue about how exactly the rapper inspired the collection: “From the wristbands and bandanas to the proportions, we wanted to modernize Jay’s approach and contribution to fashion through our lens. Jay gave us feedback and direction along the way. He’s a true artist in every sense of the word.”

The collection will be available starting at 11AM PT at the House of God Pop-up at Maxfield LA.
