Genderless, sustainable, and colorful: the new blouses born from Etro's collaboration with designer Harris Reed are a hymn to freedom, to the tradition of the famous fashion house, and to the world of Reed, known for their gender-fluid designs and focus on the new concepts of masculinity and femininity.

For this new limited-edition capsule collection, available on Etro.com and MatchesFashion.com, Reed wanted to focus their attention on a key and fundamental concept for today's world: upcycling. Thanks to the large and boundless archive of Etro, a brand that stands out precisely for its heritage and the bright fabrics, Reed uses paisley and floral prints with a voluminous shape and particular sleeves, typical of the demi-couture of which Reed is a big fan. For the final touch, large bows are positioned at will on the front or back. Etro's romantic and contemporary allure remains affected and indeed is celebrated by the addition to his inventory of Reed's iconic Pussy Bow Blouses, a model previously created for celebrity clients such as Harry Styles, Ezra Miller, and Troye Sivan.

"When Harris Reed contacted us to collaborate with us on this special project, I had no doubts," says Veronica Etro, the brand's creative director. "Harris is a young and talented designer who conveys wonderful messages with his work and I was happy to have the opportunity to combine our textile research and our taste in color with his innovative approach. Furthermore, I love the idea of giving a new life to fabrics by transforming them into exclusive one-of-a-kind creations."

A similar thought is shared by the rising star, who sees in the Maison his own heart of values. "I am extraordinarily excited for people to see these pieces, as they are completely one of a kind and a very limited run of each, which I feel, is part of the beauty of demi-couture due to its intimate buying format. I hope this brings a new way of looking at luxury fashion, not only in the way of gender and fluidity but also the idea of upcycling and the beauty behind it."

Unique, in limited edition and made in Reed's small London studio, the blouses hide a particular message. "My hope is that this leads to a new way of looking at fashion, not only in terms of gender and fluidity. but also for the idea of upcycling and the beauty behind the concept."
