Dior Unveils This Season's Most Couture Raincoat
This ultra-chic new raincoat from Maria Grazia Chiuri will have you wishing for stormy weather.
As the say goes, "April showers bring May flowers." However, when braving the thunderous spring weather, creating a stylish ensemble becomes a slightly more arduous task. Just in time, the House of Dior has unveiled a new waterproof coat, taking inspiration from the classic film Singin' in the Rain to reinvent the raincoat in designer Maria Grazia Chiuri's own image.
Alongside her Fall/Winter 2021 collection, Chiuri revisits the raincoat by celebrating color and assertiveness with a bold design. Inspired by a coat created in the 1950s for the Christian Dior Boutique, this unique model features a leopard pattern in silk taffeta and transparent vinyl for a modern and daring silhouette. However, it wouldn't be a Dior staple without the brand's iconic Oblique monogram print which details the garment on the undercollar. Fashion lovers, be warned—this is a must-have.
Guard yourself against the spring storms with this fashionable Dior piece, available online and in stores now.
