Vfiles Runway and London-based fashion marketplace Depop are revving up for New York Fashion Week with plans for a collaborative show featuring young, up-and-coming talent who will be hand-selected by fashion executives and pop culture’s style icons. Aspiring designers, models, stylists, and photographers can submit their portfolio of work to a team of professionals via the Vfiles website until July 21. As two of the largest global platforms for creative youth, Vfiles and Depop have opened an arena for brilliant emerging talent to gain exposure among the fashion world’s elite. Executives have selected Law Roach, Nicola Formichetti, Rico Nasty, Candy Pratts Price, Romero Jennings, Julie Anne Quay, and Simon Beckerman as mentors who will carefully select winners and unlock industry doors for their discoveries.

Past productions of this show have lured prominent figures across fashion, music, and culture to promote the creative cultivation of this next generation. Among some of the past mentors were Virgil Abloh, Naomi Campbell, Mel Ottenberg, Young Thug, Khloe Kardashian, Dapper Dan, and Jerry Lorenzo. With massive audiences and immense cultural influence, working under any of these mentors is truly the opportunity of a lifetime. Naomi Campbell and other past mentors shed light on the life-changing experience that this show offers below.
