All aboard on Chanel's 330-foot-long ocean liner named after Coco Chanel's villa. 

The wind was blowing in Paris last night. Transforming&nbsp;the Grand Palais into another world yet again, Karl Lagerfeld anchored&nbsp;a huge cruise ship for the 2019 Cruise show. The ship&#39;s name&nbsp;&quot;La Pausa,&quot; is taken from&nbsp;Gabrielle Chanel&#39;s (a.k.a. Coco Chanel)&nbsp;villa in South of France.&nbsp;For the nautical-themed collection, Lagerfeld took inspiraition from the&nbsp;designs he made for the house in the 1980s &mdash;&nbsp;plenty of marine trousers paired with mini jackets.

&nbsp;

What was surprising though, was the creative director&#39;s decision to take a bow alongside his fashion studio director&nbsp;Virgine Viard. The retirement rumors were previously <a href="http://www.vogue.co.uk/article/karl-lagerfeld-chanel-retirement-rumours-denied" onclick="window.open(this.href, '', 'resizable=no,status=no,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,fullscreen=no,scrollbars=no,dependent=no'); return false;">shut down</a>, but we can&#39;t help but wonder if Viard could be a potential successor.&nbsp;
