The Catsuit is the Boldest Trend of the Year

It's been some time since sensuality dominated fashion trends and, since then, several looks have emerged, such as the return of the miniskirt and the prelevance of strategic cuts. Now, this aesthetic is being applied to the catsuit, the boldest and most daring trend of the year. Aligning with the return of the jumpsuit, which has a refined and easy modeling, the catsuit is a racier version, extremely fitted to the body, drawing the silhouette perfectly and diving into the sexy style.
Although the catsuit may seem controversial, several brands and celebrities are already embracing it. Among them, the Balenciaga full-body look that Kim Kardashian wore for her iconic appearance on Saturday Night Live.
But this is not the only model that has stood out recently. Brands such as Prada, Halpern, Tom Ford, and Emilio Pucci presented the catsuit in their Fall/Winter 2021 collections, already pointing out that the piece would be the new hit of the season.
In addition, celebrities such as Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, and Miley Cyrus have already tried out the trend with looks from brands such as Mugler and Marine Serre.
The trend, undeniably, brings a sexy and daring aesthetic, giving a powerful view of the entire silhouette. Even so, it appears in several versions, from the most “discreet” ones with sober colors, long sleeves and a closed neckline, to styles with cutouts, sparkles, prints or even applications that transform the piece into a real show.
