While several large-scale campaigns have already paid tribute to flagship collections such as the Santos or Panthère, it is all the cult objects that have marked the history of Cartier since its creation that are being honored in a new campaign: The Culture of Design. Featuring Monica Belucci, friend and ambassador of the house, this global operation presents seven iconic jewels from the rich heritage of the Parisian jeweler.

Including four legendary watches (the Santos, the Tank, the Panthère, and the Ballon Bleu), the Love bracelets, the Juste un Clou, and the triple Trinity ring, these pieces reflect the demanding standards of Cartier and the vision of design that lead the maison in the constant search for the perfect form, based on the purity of the line, the rigor of the form, precision of proportions, and the smallest details. “This is the first time that we have brought together all of these iconic creations in a leading campaign. These pieces have played a major role in the history of the maison. It is a tribute to the culture of design which is at the heart of Cartier ,”  said Arnaud Carrez, International Marketing & Communication Director of Cartier.

The Love Bracelet

Love is the expression of Cartier's design vision. Pure lines to perfection: the oval bracelet imagined in 1969 in New York by Aldo Cipullo consists of two rigid and flat circular arcs that must be screwed on the wearer's wrist.

Panthère de Cartier Watch

In 1983, the Panthère de Cartier watch showed the house's ability to express purity of line without losing any softness. The watch takes its name from the bracelet. Extra flexible, it suggests the way the emblematic animal of the house moves. Reissued in 2017, the Panthère de Cartier watch reflects a free, joyful, and triumphant femininity.

Ballon Bleu de Cartier Watch

Ballon Bleu de Cartier was born in 2007 from a new vision of the round which, for Cartier designers, consisted of giving volume to the circle. Doubly convex, its shape strikes a balance between line and volume. To avoid any break in the lines, the domed sapphire crystal is perfectly integrated into the case like the winder, with its blue bubble and its crown protector integrated under a metal arch at three o'clock.

Juste un Clou

With Juste un Clou, Cartier sublimates the purity of an ordinary form and turns a simple nail into a jewel. Pure, radical, and uncompromising line, the accuracy of the proportions of the bracelet, imagined in New York in the 1970s by Aldo Cipullo, allows the metal to adapt as close as possible to the wrist.

The Tank Watch

Louis Cartier defined the shape of a new watch in 1917. Inspired by the design of a military tank seen from above, the watch is governed by this clear graphic principle: the stretchers for the tracks, the housing for the vehicle interior. From this formal rapprochement is born a new and founding principle: the design of the case fasteners is now integrated into the extension of the bracelet without any break in rhythm.

Santos de Cartier Watch

Created in 1904, the design of the Santos de Cartier watch is based on the notion of form, the taste for purity, the accuracy of proportions, and finally, the sense of detail. Introduced for the wrist at a time when the pocket watch was round, the Santos de Cartier was an early innovator. The screws, traditionally hidden in watchmaking, are left visible and become an aesthetic code of the collection.

The Trinity Ring

With a simple ring, the jeweler reveals the beauty of a simple form. Pure lines, correct proportions, the Trinity ring is made up of three intertwined and movable rings in three colors of gold. The design was imagined by Louis Cartier in 1924.
