Burberry Announces New Collaboration with Supreme
The fashion house teams up with the iconic streetwear brand for its Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
British fashion house Burberry announced that they are partnering with streetwear brand Supreme for an exclusive Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The brands have come together to combine their different aesthetics into one cohesive collection.
The collection combines iconic Burberry motifs, such as the knight logo and the check pattern, with Supreme's key items. However, the collaboration, which features 14 new items, has been split into two different capsule collections for each brand. Supreme will exclusively carry the car coat, shearling-collar puffer jacket, trucker jacket, rugby top, hooded sweatshirt, jeans, denim shorts, T-shirt, crusher hat, six-panel cap, and skateboard. Burberry will sell the other three items: the funnel-neck jacket, jogging pants, and silk pajama set.
The campaign images feature a mix of models that fit the overall mixture of aesthetics and lifestyles of the collection. Supermodel Irina Shayk sits alongside Supreme team skater, model, and Sage Elsesser, brother to model Paloma Elsesser. They are only two of the featured models, but this mix helps to amplify the motivation of the collection itself.
The Supreme x Burberry collaboration will be available at select Burberry stores, in all of Supreme's locations, and on Burberry's website. It drops on March 10 in the UK, U.S., and Europe, and on March 12 for all other markets. The six-panel cap and crusher hat will not be featured in these two drops but will be released at a later date.
